Player Blog: Brandon Pettigrew

“I feel good after my first game – I have fresh legs. It’s only preseason, but getting the win was a start and it was good to finally get out there. At first I was kind of in and out – it was hard to get a groove. But once I get into the flow and got a few blocks in and got a couple catches, it was all good.

“I didn’t get to hit on the first play, because the first play I got in was a route. But once I got the first run play in, it was good after that. Getting my first catch got me going. It gets you into the groove of things. It definitely got me going.

“I thought worked together well as a team – as an offense. We kind of hurt ourselves and put ourselves in bad positions, but I thought we played well together. Last week, we really beat ourselves. I don’t think we really played as well as we should have. This week, we kind of battled back and we hung in there and we got it done.”

I have a good feeling about the team this year, I think you guys will make the playoffs, maybe even the superbowl. (I have faith in you guys as a team.)

    Brandon,

I really like your blog. I’ve fallowed you for most o your career. I love in Ok and watched you alot in College. You probley don’t remember me but I had a chance to talk to you JR year. I know you talk with a ton of people. I’ve been trying to contact you through the Lions but have had some problems. I host a Radio show/PodCast about the NFL and the OSU Cowboys. I would love to do a 5/10min interview with you about The draft and the old days with the cowboys. I understand if you don’t want to I know you don’t have much free time. I know this is unprofessional and somthing I have never done. The lions are tough to contact and I have no in’s other than some of your team mates. BLITZcast the NFL PodCast I do has had two Lions on over the past few weeks. Jerome Felton and Andre Flullen. You could ask them about us and the way we work if you would like to come on the show. Also http://www.nfldraftblitz.com and http://www.CowboyCast.com can tell you everything you need to know about me. Once again Sorry about the way I’m contacting you. The best way to get a hold of me is through E-mail CowboyCast@live.com I can give you my phone number through E-Mail. Thanks for your time sorry for the long message Sam Lockett.

after the game on saturday, what drew stanton did with that draw made me think , hey lets use him in the wildcat formation. I think this would be good fit for you and the team, I think with what you, matt stafford, and the whole team can do on offense, it would work nicely.
