Lions Trade TE Gronkowski for CB Smith
Posted by on September 6, 2010 – 12:41 pmThe Detroit Lions have officially confirmed the trade of TE Dan Gronkowki to the Denver Broncos in exchange for CB Alphonso Smith.
Both players are in their second NFL season. Smith played in 15 games with the Broncos last year with zero starts, finishing the year with nine total tackles.
He was originally drafted in 2009 by the Broncos in the second round (37th overall) out of Wake Forest.

Not a bad trade i suppose. You already have 2 solid tight ends in scheffler and Pettigrew. We all know that the lions defense has been struggling and the cornerbacks have been a big part of it . So i believe it can only be a win win for us if he pans out and contributes to this defense. which looks like it should
be a much more solid defense this year . Some big moves were made in that
reguards.

I think it good were trying to get new CB because last year we couldnt stop a nose bleed i happy wit alot of are new guys now it time to win games so lets play some football
