The Detroit Lions have announced CB Chris Houston will be inactive in the season finale vs. Vikings. WR Calvin Johnson will play today after being listed as questionable in Friday’s injury report.

“Both guys will probably go until Sunday, as far as a decision goes,” Head Coach Jim Schwartz said on Friday.

Houston injured his shoulder against at Miami and did not practice this week, while Johnson injured his ankle against the Dolphins.

LB Landon Johnson was placed on injured/reserve earlier in the week with a concussion.

Complete list of inactives for today’s game:

  • 3rd QB Zac Robinson
  • RB Aaron Brown
  • CB Chris Houston
  • S Randy Phillips
  • DE Barry Turner
  • T Tony Ugoh
  • G Donald Thomas
  • LB Julian Peterson

LB Ashlee Palmer will start in place of LB Julian Peterson and LB Bobby Carpenter will start for Johnson.
