Houston Inactive, Johnson up for Season Finale vs. Vikings
Posted by on January 2, 2011 – 12:47 pmThe Detroit Lions have announced CB Chris Houston will be inactive in the season finale vs. Vikings. WR Calvin Johnson will play today after being listed as questionable in Friday’s injury report.
“Both guys will probably go until Sunday, as far as a decision goes,” Head Coach Jim Schwartz said on Friday.
Houston injured his shoulder against at Miami and did not practice this week, while Johnson injured his ankle against the Dolphins.
LB Landon Johnson was placed on injured/reserve earlier in the week with a concussion.

- RB Aaron Brown
- CB Chris Houston
- S Randy Phillips
- DE Barry Turner
- T Tony Ugoh
- G Donald Thomas
- LB Julian Peterson
LB Ashlee Palmer will start in place of LB Julian Peterson and LB Bobby Carpenter will start for Johnson.

I Love the way all of you pulled together. Hope you are all back next season .
With a few that well not be .. sad but true. Great job to all !! I hope next it gets better from the start.. I can atleast see the light at the end now.. Better things are comming and some players that need more time in the gme got it and they did a hellofa job. Good luck with FA and a good draft . Great job to all the Pro Bowelers too . Should have been more but logan and others know who you are . Great Team Players .. All !!! Show them next year.
