Tim Ryan sees Nate Burleson as a key factor in tomorrow’s Week 1 match-up

The Detroit Lions arrived in Tampa Saturday afternoon for Sunday’s 1 p.m. match-up at Raymond James Stadium.

Calling the game on FOX will be Tim Ryan and Chris Myers, who spoke with Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh, Matthew Stafford and Stephen Tulloch in preparation for the broadcast.

Said Ryan of tomorrow’s game, “I think a big key tomorrow is obviously watching Detroit’s offense since they were as good as they were in the preseason – what they were able to do in terms of sheer impact and production.”

Looking deeper into the offensive side of the ball, a big match-up to watch will be Johnson and cornerback Aqib Talib, who did not play in December’s match-up between the two teams.

“I’m not sure it’s going to happen, but I anticipate them trying to move Aqib Talib around on Calvin,” said Ryan.

If that were to happen, wide receiver Nate Burleson may end up with one-on-one match-ups along the perimeter.

“Nobody knows how good Nate is, really, outside of Detroit,” said Ryan. “I do. I think Scott (Linehan) is really good at formationing guys to the isolation routes on the perimeter – Matt as well.

“I think that’s going to be a big key in tomorrow’s game.”

I do agree with all of the concepts you’ve introduced for your post. They are really convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for newbies. Could you please extend them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
