Justin Durant having a little fun at Calvin Johnson’s expense
Posted by on March 15, 2012 – 8:50 pmLions linebacker Justin Durant is a huge music enthusiast. In fact, he contributes a music column to the Detroit Metro Times.
It his latest work, Durant decided to have some fun with teammate Calvin Johnson and the eight-year, $132 million contract he signed Wednesday by creating the topic #CalvinJohnsonIpodPlaylist on Twitter.
Durant wanted suggestions to what songs Johnson could have been playing on his IPod after signing his mega contract.
Here are some of the better suggestions Durant received:
“Money To Blow” — Birdaman ft. Drake & Lil Wayne
“Spend It” — 2 Chaaaaainzzz
“Must Be The Money” – Deion Sanders
“Making Love To The Money” — Gucci Mane
“For The Love of Money” — The O’Jays
“Make It Rain” — Fat Joe
“Money Made” — AC/DC
“Imma Boss” — Meek Mill ft Rick Ross
“Rich Forever” — Rick Ross ft John Legend
“All About The Benjamins” — Puff Daddy an the Family
“Money Ain”t A Thang” — Jermaine Dupri ft Jay-Z
“I Get Money” — 50 Cent
“Phone Numbers” — Wiz Khalifa ft Big Sean
“Big Pimpin” — Jay-Z ft UGK
“I Throw My Money On The Floor” by the Notorious B.U.M.
I’m guessing Johnson will have to get used to this when the team gets together for the offseason training program in a few weeks.

If Calvin wants to head for some “Solid Gold”, how about:
Money For Nothing – Dire Straits,
Money – Pink Floyd
Baby “You’re a Rich Man” – Beatles
Money (That’s What I Want) – Beatles
Taxman – Beatles
Money – Michael Jackson
Take the Money and Run – Steve Miller Band
Money Talks – AC/DC
At any rate, Calvin deserves it. He will earn it with great performance, and I hope he has a lot of fun spending some of it.

Way over paid. He’s awsome I don’t denie that. But you can’t break the bank on a single player when you still have team needs.

so this isn’t an open forum? I wasn’t saying Calvin isn’t great. But with alot of people the Lions need to keep is it worth 132 million for one player.
