WR Calvin Johnson listed on Lions injury report with a foot injury
Posted by on September 12, 2012 – 4:01 pmThe Lions released their first injury report of the week Wednesday leading up to Sunday night’s game against the 49ers and it includes a few starters.
Receiver Calvin Johnson did not participate in practice because of a foot injury, according to the report. Johnson played the entire game against the Rams and seems to be fine, judging from the portion of practice open to the media.
“Injury report. You know me,” head coach Jim Schwartz said after practice Wednesday when asked about Johnson’s absence from practice.
Safety Louis Delmas (knee), cornerback Bill Bentley (concussion), linebacker Travis Lewis (quad) and defensive end Lawrence Jackson (calf) were all listed as not practicing Wednesday for the Lions.
Defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee) and cornerback Chris Houston (ankle) were listed as limited on the injury report.
It was the first time Houston has practiced since suffering an ankle injury Week 3 of the preseason.
