TE Brandon Pettigrew back at Lions practice

Posted by ttwentyman on October 10, 2012 – 11:55 am

Tight end Brandon Pettigrew returned to the practice field today after missing Tuesday’s bonus practice for what head coach Jim Schwartz described as “an extra day of rest”.

The Lions will release their first official injury report of the week at 4 p.m.

The Lions were without defensive tackle Corey Williams, defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and receiver Titus Young for Wednesday’s practice. Both Vanden Bosch and Young have been dealing with knee injuries this season, but it’s unclear if today’s absence was related to any injuries or just a day of rest.

Safety Louis Delmas practiced for a second consecutive day and seems in line to play Sunday in Philadelphia.

i always like to comment on the lions, they kep my blood stired up . they most assuredly need to practice, practice, practice,.they all need to get tougher and know what to do and play like they know what they are doing. i didnt like the comments that were made about schwartz, and some others , people think that Detroit cant and wont do anything, this year, because all the players are 2 slow and dont know what to do on the field.well they havent played the last 2 games.that should tell them something, they should know what to do i mean how old are these guys, and they act like they are in rocket football, i sure hope they show us somethingagnist the eagles. hope they dont go for a 105 yrd touchdown like the last team they played. that was embarasing to say the least.then things went from bad to worse. come on guys give us a game to be proud of from here on out. i will never give up on the lions and i sure hope they dont dissapoint me.well ive said enough thank you for letting me comment.
