The Lions officially listed safety Louis Delmas as questionable for Sunday’s game in Philadelphia on Friday’s injury report. Delmas sat out of practice Friday after being a limited participant both Wednesday and Thursday, but head coach Jim Schwartz said that was by design.
“We had planned to ease him back at the end of the week,” he said. “He’s doing well. He’s not having any setbacks and I’d like to keep it that way.”
Delmas said he’s still not 100 percent, but is getting better every day.
“I can’t really determine whether I play or not, but, like I said, I take it day-by-day, believe in my trainers – they’re doing a great job of preparing me, mixing me in, so I can get back out there on the field,” he said Friday.
Defensive tackle Sammie Hill (toe) and defensive end Cliff Avril (back) are also questionable. Both players were limited all week in practice.
Tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee), receiver Titus Young (knee), linebacker Travis Lewis (quad) and safety Amari Spievey (groin) are listed as probable.
Linebacker Stephen Tulloch is also listed as probable after showing up on the injury report on Friday for the first time this week with a knee injury. He had a procedure done this offseason to help alleviate some soreness associated with tendinitis.

Safety Louis Delmas did not participate in the portion of practice open to the media on Friday, but did sprint out of the building about 20 minutes into practice and dove head first into a tackling dummy.
Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said Thursday that Delmas has looked good in his recovery from Aug. 7 knee surgery and has suffered no setbacks.
“I usually just go with the injury report for him,” Schwartz said. “But with him because he hasn’t practiced the whole year, he’s had no setbacks. He’s looked good. We still have ground to cover until Sunday. We still treat him and keep an eye on things. But we’ve been very encouraged by getting him on the field last week and being able to get him back on the field this week. I think those were import things. He’s on a good track. Whether or not he gets it to Sunday, we still have some time. We’ll wait and see.”
Delmas has practiced all week, but was listed as limited on the injury report both Wednesday and Thursday.
The Lions will release the injury report with game designations at 4 p.m. today.
The only other player to miss practice was defensive tackle Corey Williams, who hasn’t practiced all week.
