Suzanne Lewand: Women’s Association to host Lions Style Lounge this Sunday

Posted by Chrissie Wywrot on October 25, 2012 – 1:27 pm

Suzanne Lewand is Co-Chair, along with Sabrina Mayhew and Kathy Schwartz, of the Detroit Lions Women’s Association

We are so excited to have the Lions Style Lounge at Ford Field this weekend!

It will be a one-of-a-kind experience geared especially to our female fans. All of the new Lions women’s merchandise will be available to purchase, some of which is being brought in especially for this event. We will also have professional stylists to show you how to take your team spirit through the whole week — not just on game days.

Eva Scrivo, professional stylist and Detroit native will be there giving beauty tips as well! We’ll have refreshments, a DJ and a cool photo booth that lets you take a picture “with” your favorite player (really a greenscreen) and post it directly to Facebook or email it. There will be free manicures in Honolulu Blue and Silver and members of the Detroit Lions Women’s Association (wives and girlfriends of players, coaches, and front office personnel) will be on hand to greet guests.

New Era Sport technicians will be on hand to custom fit their caps — even the guys will enjoy that! All this in an amazingly decorated tent on the Gate A party deck. A not-to-be-missed event!

It is so fitting that we are treating our female fans during the month of October – breast cancer awareness month, when we focus on “A Crucial Catch”, encouraging yearly mammograms.

In fact, the first 300 guests in the style lounge will receive a Lions’ “courage” wristband. In addition, a portion of the sales of Crucial Catch themed pink items will go to breast cancer research.

So if you’re coming to the game, be sure to come by the Style Lounge and see us — we’ll be there from 11 am until after the game.

Go Lions!

Back in my day we didn’t need hair and nail stuff in football. Alex Karris must be turning over in his grave.
    Bah. Humbug!
