Lacey and Spievey ruled out for Sunday; Levy doubtful

The Lions will be without starters Jacob Lacey and Amari Spievey Sunday vs. the Seahawks and aren’t likely to have linebacker DeAndre Levy, either.

Lacey and Spievey have been ruled out Sunday with concussions and Levy is doubtful after missing practice all week with a hamstring injury. Ashlee Palmer is likely to start for Levy and Erik Coleman for Spievey.

Cornerback Bill Bentley is listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report. If he plays, he’ll start for Lacey. If it is determined he can’t play for a second straight game, rookie Jonte Green will get his second consecutive start. Bentley has been limited all week with a shoulder injury.

Also questionable are: defensive end Cliff Avril (back), safety Louis Delmas (knee) and receiver Titus Young (knee). Avril and Young were limited in practice Friday, while Delmas sat out.

Receiver Calvin Johnson, tight end Brandon Pettigrew, linebacker Stephen Tulloch and defensive tackle Corey Williams are all probable with knee injuries.

Why hasn’t Schwartz been fired? At least talk of it??? He is the problem. Too much talent is going to waste

Do you see Kris Durham in the Lions plans in the near future? He was an awesome clutch receiver at Georgia with great hands. He is not a speed guy but he finds ways to get open.
