Receiver Calvin Johnson is active and will start today in Jacksonville.

Johnson sat out practice all week with a knee injury, which is the first time the team’s leading receiver has missed an entire week of practice this season.

Johnson has been dealing with the left knee injury for the past few weeks, but has yet to miss a game this season. He came out in warmups with the knee heavily wrapped, but didn’t seem hampered at all running through drills.

He has 41 catches for 638 yards and one touchdown through seven games.

Linebacker DeAndre Levy will not play for a second straight week. He’s been battling through a hamstring injury and was limited in practice this week. He, too, went through an extensive pregame workout before it was determined he wasn’t ready to go. Ashlee Palmer will get the start at outside linebacker for a second straight week.

Joining Levy on the inactive list are: safeties Louis Delmas and Amari Spievey, tackles Jason Fox and Corey Hilliard, quarterback Kellen Moore and receiver Brian Robiskie.

Ricardo Silva and Erik Coleman will start at safety. Jacob Lacey will start at right corner after returning to practice this week after suffering a concussion against at Philadelphia three weeks ago.
