Sucks that Delmas is out again, but at least Erik Coleman was playing like he was possessed last week. Also, Ricardo Silva is lookin good too along with rookie Jonte Green.

Big improvement from last years paper thin secondary. Also, Alphonso Smith is baaaack and playing very well. His tackling this year is the best i've ever seen from him.

Tired of people saying cut Delmas. You never get rid of all-pro talent, NEVER! If there's even a 1% chance that he can stay healthy, you take it, because he DOES mean that much to the defense.

If the Lions were that silly, he would be picked up in a heartbeat.

Of course it is still wise to add talent, and they should certainly look at drafting a good safety if one is available (preferably after OL or CB).

Gary everyone feels the same frustration as you with the injuries to the defensive backs. But please think of Delmas he is a pro bowl talent that leaves parts of himself on the field everytime he plays. Like you said he does play hard and he does get hurt, but he plays for us the fans. The only thing we can do as fans is to hope when he does come back that he is able to stay healthy.

Delmas is done. He is bob sanders reincarnated. Let him go, sign routt, and draft backend help early and often in April. I don't want to discredit delmas's talent. But the way he plays and the way he is built will never work.

The Lions need Louis Delmas and Speivy healthy to up there chances to make the playoffs. One thing is for sure without Louis Delmas there chances of beating the better teams are lower. They can win without them as they have shown, but they can do so much more on defense when Delmas healthy and is playing. Louis Delmas changes the other teams game plan because of what he can do.

That is half our team either probable, questionable or out. To many injuries! I know injuries happen in football but it always seems the Lions always have more than their share of injuries. Wonder why???
