The important issue is that those types of hits, which I believe was intentional, should not be tolerated at any time. Simply fining a player $10,000 or $20,000 hardly makes up for the damage received by the recipient. Such an offender should be immediately thrown out of the game and suspended for a minimum of Five more games without pay. Accidental head to head contact is unavoidable in some cases. However, the Minnesota blow inflicted on Calvin was intentional, with the intent of knocking the ball loose, or knocking him out of the game. I want to see the Lions players start to receive the “KID GLOVE” treatment Peyton, Eli, Rodgers, and Brady get every game.

Wow…pretty sad that the Lions basically are tellin Calvin to shut up and telling him what he needs to say….I hate the secresy surrounding the injuries on this team.,don’t they know if it wasn’t for us they wouldn’t even be playin. Fans have a right to know about their players too….
