Well CJ since u don’t look at the playoff picture let me tell u. After all that crazy shit we just went through we still have life cuz everyone lost so just keep grinding and it will payoff!!! Excellent attitude to have!! To bad another certain person still hasn’t learned that yet!! U need to holla at em’!! Tell your OC to put some curls and comeback routes in his gameplan!!!! A screen pass whether it be to WR or a RB would’ve been a perfect call on that 3rd and 11!!! That’s just terrible coaching decisions when it was still a long FG!! WTF!!! Tell your OC also to work on his LATEGAME gameplaning and playcalling and we will be just fine!!! Ohh and tell Matt to stop talking about that Cover 2!!! Tell him to go back and watch what you guys did last year against Cover 2!!!! U just out ran it CJ so tell Matt to just give u more of a chance than what he has been and tell him to settle down and stop overthrowing everybody!!!! He’s better than that!!! Continue to grind. Playoff or not, the rest of the season will continue to help build continuity and chemistry. I don’t like the idea from fans to lose and get a high draft pick. High draft picks are not guarantees as we can see from our past. I honestly believe our squad is talented and good enough to compete at a playoff level. Consistency is the key and that’s what the remainder 6 games are for. Happy Thanksgiving all and hopefully we’ll come out with a Thanksgiving victory!

The Lions are a better team than how they are playing right now. Dropped pass, ball thrown poorly or off the mark, little things. Injuries are growing. Trying to make things happen creates conflicits. C. Johnson is the a great receiver and deserves more respect from the league and officals. Viewing many defensive plays around the league hitting players in the head and paying the fine is no big deal and common place. One game suspensions don’t cut it. The Viking LB hit Calvin twice in two different games, accident I do not believe it. The penalty for hitting players in the head favors the Defense to continue. A quality receiver in Calvin Johnson being targetted by defenses with head shots and Calvin is not the only one, QB’s left and right, RB’s left and right, is a situation the League and the Refs need to seriously review and overhaul. Calvin hang tough we love ya.

The lions are playing for pride. Lets not keep hiding the fact that the whole starting secondary has been shot the whole season. The starting receving core ( all except MEGATRON ) has been slacking yet running off at the mouth how good they are. Please C>J take a rest. Lets see what the rookie corps of receivers can do and the new kid we traded for. The front fore has keep us in most games. Just cant believe that running backs continually keep racking up top yardage on us and the next week the same running back gets crushed bye mediocre defenses. We got your back, Find yoyr Niche. Go Lions

The players don’t read these comments. The are posted by staff based on comments by the player. So now we just hope the team plays to win becuase playoffs are out of the picture for the Lions for this year. They will get some good draft picks, hopefully corners and safety s and keep building. It takes a long time to build a contending team. And even then the best team does not always win at the big dance.

Glad to hear CJ, call it like it is. I had mentioned more than once that Young does not appear to contribute much on the field, failing to provide a solid option when CJ is covered. It is time for Broyles to replace him and give him a shot. We need guys who want to play and win, not just collect paychecks. Matt puts too much to into each game dodging and weaving and looking for options. If these guys can’t get open, then they should be benched.

CJ i love your game and i know you lead on the field but there is another point of leadership that you have let the team down on. Its Titus you being the leader of the receivers was suppose to go to him one on one then the coaches and ultimately then spoke out on it on your blog as you did it sounds weak now that you speak out after the fact. We all knew he was a problem but sometimes it takes your peers calling you out publicly to get your attention. It may be hard for you to understand that because you are so proffessional in your approach. However Thank you for your season you gave us please focus on the future season and prepare your body for it this season is a bust not because of you but its just the way the ball bounces
