here is something for you to know calvin. you need to take advantage of the power of the lions force. this force is caused by the frustration of the lions fan. this force will cause you to run a little faster, jump a little higher, focus a little better, train and study a little longer, and help a teammate a little more. my saying is worst to first. i believe the lions will win a home playoff game next year. i believe the lions can set the record for the most passing yards in a game this week. the lions play better against teams that think they can play 1 on 1 coverage. would love to see leshoure pitch the ball back to stafford and hit you for a long td on the 1st play. set bell free on a long td run when you knock the cb down and then block the safety. how do i know the lions will go from worst to first? because, the lions have the best offense in the nfl and need to add a couple of players on d and get healthy. put a smile on schwartz's face this week! try a reverse where you come in motion and hand the ball off to logan or thomas. tell the punt team to block better for logan. holding a block a little longer is the difference between winning and losing. i would love to see him get a td on a punt return. after the lions game you can play the song another one bites the dust. i have heard some fans complaining about the lions celebrating too much during the game. it doesn't bother me, but do you think you should have a team meeting and celebrate after you win the game? honor barry and hand the ball to the ref.

CJ! Don't pull a "Barry" on us. You are the class of this team and the league. This group running our team now is much different and dedicated to putting a winner on the filed. That group that was around when Barry played just wanted to fill the seats. This bunch wants to win and it's obvious. I feel that this is the off-season that we use to fill the gaps and needs of this team. Mayhew is a great GM. We're back in the playoffs next year and no more than 2 years away from a Super Bowl. Stay healthy. Stay competitive. You will go forward into history as the greatest WR of all time. I can say that because I have been hanging around since the days of Tom "the bomb" Tracy, Pat Studstill from the Lions and guys like Swan and Rice from other teams. You're the best I've ever seen.

Patrick Peterson ranks Calvin as the #2 WR in the NFL. I’m not mad at him, the young man rank Calvin behind his teammate Larry Fitzgerald, a phenomenal talent who despite the issues at QB for Arizona, still makes unbelievable plays every week and still brings his “A” game despite being on a team that has had serious QB issues for the last couple of years. Nonetheless, I look forward to watching Calvin show that young man why he is on the cover of Madden and why he will, in all probability, break Jerry Rice’s record.

CJ, I am glad to see that you have remained upbeat with all of the disappointment surrounding this season. The ultimate tragedy for Lions fans would be to have you or Matt want to jump ship and join some other winning program. After years and years of following this team, and all of the college drafts, I really don't know what it is (draft wise) that the Lions could do to put them over the hump. Do we need an better running back? Do we need a top notch cornerback? How about Mantei Teo? The defense in particular seems to lack some ingredient which makes them play the WHOLE game? On Offense we seem good with you and Broyles, Pettigrew, Scheffler and Burelson. Matt is a definite franchise QB. We need a Run blocking Center and/or guard. I am at a loss as to why this ball keeps rolling downhill! I am just glad to have you and Matt continuing to dominate as a passing/receiving tandem!

Your already a Hall of Famer CJ so I understand the frustration. Hopefully you will get that ring you covet.

I hope the rest of the team treats this offseason seriously and comes back ready to play.

Otherwise with another bad record next season we are looking at changes more than likely to the coaching staff and then you have to worry about learning new schemes etc...

Megatron you are the heart of the Lions. I love that you never give up on a play like some players do. That takes heart and that's what you are the heart of this team. Show your team mates what it takes to win and don't give up on each other. #81 you and #51 have to keep this team together, to win it next year. Love you and the team....

To the rest of the Lions team... block out the negativity. Don't let it get to you. There will always be detractors, naysayers... people who think you will fail or even want you to. Remember that your destiny is in your own hands, nobody elses. Keep the faith, I do!

Simms... you don't belong here. If everyone trembled at the prospect of history nothing would get done. The past can teach us, but only affects the future if we let it. You're obviously disgruntled, and maybe for good reason... but a person without hope and faith is living a life with very little meaning. Belief is one of the strongest emotions and can help people overcome nearly any obstacle. As long as the Lions team doesn't lose faith in themselves... as long as they believe in themselves and their ability to win... they have a chance to make great things happen. Apply this to your life, and I promise you'll be amazed at the results.
