I don't think the Viking would let him go, but Percy Harvins had said he wanted to leave the Vikings. I think the Lions should try to trade for Harvins. When one player can solve 3 issues he's worth the price. He could be use for kickoff returns, solves the problem with Best at running back, and adds depth at receiver.

Heck i don't what to think anymore. I believe the head coach is a issue he does not have control of this team, he pats Stafford on the back at times when he should benched, for some of the mistakes he makes. He has no other threat to place his blank!!! on the bench. Mayhew wants this guy as his future please that scares me for the future of the this team he had one good year, due to the O line blocking for him, and his revievers catching un catchable balls, that's why their is so many injury's to these guy's. Black out's get ready cause they will be back, if this team continues to loose.

Connor, clean up the language and you'll get more people to continue reading your comments, and actually believing you.

I agree with you, I'm just just crazy about the way you presented your thoughts.

Taking a moment to check your spelling would go a long way also.

DRe Bly ?
A "cherry picker" at best. He avoided tackling at all costs for fear of getting hurt.
He was brought back in that pre-season so that the rookies could learn from him ( really ? )

Just about anybody could catch an errant pass, especially if they weren't covering a receiver,...again, in fear of having to make a tackle.

Notice that he was CUT at the end of that pre-season ?

Why were at it...just a few thoughts ( of many )

Gosder - still too many penalties, that might be your undoing.

D'eAndre - learn to contain at the sideline....force the runner back into the middle into other other tacklers. Don't give in to his headfake to the inside, while he runs around you to the outside and down the line for a TD. Have a better 2013

Petermann.....good to see last years penalties decreased. get stronger, meaner

Durant - your speed leaves a lot to be desired, improve on it !

Raiola, Backus, VandenBosch - Thanks for all your efforts, ...but really,... today's football is a young man's game. Don't end your careers on an even more sour note. Look into coaching, you'd probably do just as well as some others we know\, and hopefully better.

Durham - good size, decent hands....but you REALLY need to increase your speed and cutting ability,...you look like choppy when you run, like the Energizer bunny. Your size alone won't keep you here. Best of Luck for 2013.

Silva - you've disappointed me. I thought you were going to be the next "Delmas".
Stay away from penalties, and you may still have a chance.

Lou Creekmur - Where is your spirit, when we need it most ?

Running backs - don't try to make a hole where there isn't one
Defense - why can't you strip and "cause" fumbles like your opponents. Seems awfully one-sided to me.

Special teams. - on a kickoff reception - why do you allow opposing players to beat you down to the kick returner. ?

Offensive Line - try to actually be "OFFENSIVE", push the defensive line back on their heels, become "road gradesr",
          .... INSTEAD OF...
playing "defense', by standing up and allowing the other teams defense to push YOU into the backfield, allowing them to be "offensive"

The line that's being pushed back on their heels, has no control, and will lose out to the other line doing the pushing. Pretty obvious I think.

I agree, a new Offensive Line coach should be a real consideration.

( No more red zone, under 5 yds, dive slant passes to the slant receiver ( formerly Titus Young .....which is predictable as anything. ) Just because it worked in a game or two before, doesn't mean it's going to continue to work. Opposing teams DO study your films, learn your weaknesses. This is also way too obvious.

Hanson - pray even harder, you deserve way much better

What about the QB coach? Stafford looked awful this year. I think he threw side arm while off his back foot 75% of the time. You don't see that kind of form from the elite QB's in the league. When Stafford did throw off his front foot he threw strikes. Also, something has to be done about the discipline on the team, it was terrible. To make matters worse, when a stupid character mistake happened there was no response from the coach. I don't understand how there can be so much talent on a team yet the win column is awful. Expansion teams are making moves in the playoffs. Why is it so difficult for the Lions?
