Julio Jones is a great WR, but he doesn’t get the coverage that CJ gets every game, especially after our #2,3, and 4 WR’s were out for the season. It’s hard to double Julio when you have to worry about Roddy White and Gonzalez. Should be an interesting year next year. Both have good speed, hands and size, but I’ve never seen anyone make sideline catches and keep their toes inbounds like Megatron!

Gil Brandt is definitely the later. No other receiver in football draws as much attention by opposing defenses as CJ. And that should tell you everything you need to know about how good CJ is.

First of all Julio did not replace Megatron in the Pro Bowl. Vincent Jackson did. Ummmmmm……who din’t know that. o.O And Megatron gets covered like no other. His coverage is unheard of. Despite the fact he gets double covered not every game but every play he still puts up better numbers than Julio. And you are tripping if you think Julio has better hands. Megatron is the greatest combination (as of now) of speed, size, jumping ability, and catching. Now I’ll be honest Julio probably is the runner-up (in my opinion) for the best receiver (as of now) he is a good overal player and has good hands. But there is just no argument. Megatron is the best receiver (as of now). Go Lion’s. Enough said.

Let Julio Jones spend 2 games playing for the Lions and CJ for the Falcons and see who has the better production. CJ in single coverage could probably rack up about 400+ yards in those 2 games easily. Jones in triple coverage and no running game might end up with about 150; maybe.

Gil Brandt, Warren Sapp, Chris Carter, Brandon Marshall, and the Unknown GM, all seem to have personal vendettas against the Lions. Why so much hate for a team that’s a perennial loser? It seems kind of psychotic and pathetic to me. The Patriots don’t get that kind of hate, and they’re KNOWN CHEATERS!! I think that some people take a sincere, sick joy in kicking people when they’re down to stroke their own egos.

Looks like Twentyman, for lack of creativity, is pretty hung up on what Gil Brandt thinks. Again I ask, who cares what Brandt thinks??? Tim must have run out of quotes to print and regurgitate from our coaches. This article is yet another lame example of what this website has sunk to. Why would you even consider putting this kind of lame comparison up on the LIONS WEBSITE, oh because you want us to think that what you write is relevant. Please put Paula back as lead writer. At least she had some creativity and knew what the fans want to see on here.
