@PLM: It was not obvious to everybody that releasing Titus Young was a good thing. Many felt trading him was a better option. In essence, we would have paid the Rams 900k to keep him on their salary. The 900k was the guaranteed portion of Titus Young's contract that the Lions are responsible for in the 2013 season. Yet, the Rams even while being paid to keep Titus, they chose to release him. And that speaks volumes for Titus's trade value/worth to any team which was the whole point as to why Tim wrote/printed this article.

So glad to hear that the great titus is now without gainful employment. What an idiot. On the the other hand what a breath of fresh air Ryan Broyles is. He seems to be a genuine nice guy who understands what it means to respect the game and to be grateful for the opportunity to earn a living playing a sport he loves. He seems to really enjoy interacting with his fans and is somebody you know will give his team 110% on any given Sunday. Thanks Ryan, I for one really look forward to rooting for you as you rehab your knee and eventually take the field for the silver and blue next year.

Tim, my question to you is why are you posting this story about Young. He's not a Lion anymore. What possible benefit do lions readers get with this story. As soon as the Lions released him it should be a non story for the Lions. Unless! I see your posting it to show Lions fans that they made the right decision by letting him go and now nobody else wants him. Another fine illusion Tim. That was the easiest call to let Young go but the Lions drug their feet way longer than they should have, Then made it look like they were making a huge move releasing him. And then made a point of following him to his next stop knowing he wouldn't last long there just so they could show fans that the org.is moving in the right direction. So let us know where Youngs next stop is Tim. Hate to tell you but nobody cares!

I do not know if Titus Young's Career is over or not?
But I do have to say that This Young man is Getting what he Needs!
If the NFL is Really Committed to help Their Young Talented High Headed Players then this is What should happen.
It Would be great If All the Teams and coach's and Owners would do just what was done here. Send the player or player's around the league, being evaluated by about Ten or so Teams and then Let go by all of them and at the end of all that humiliation allow the first Team that drafted him to take him back and if he has learned his lesson then allow him to play some FOOTBALL!
And if he doesn't get the picture by that time Send home so that he can join the rest of society in doing what we do. Paying to go see a football game or watching it on TV.
However, Reality is that if he can get the chance with another Team that the Owner and coach don't care how he acts as long as he catches the Football and scores touchdowns and he is even a little more talented than the WRs that they have he will be Playing. However, a Stint in Canada might be what the kid needs!
(: Does Titus like the cold weather? well I mean colder than Detroit.
I Love the LIONS! GO LIONS LETS WIN A SUPERBOWL WITH THE WR's THAT WE HAVE! Calvin Johnson The WR that is WAY Better than Titus, The WR that I am hoping is way better than Titus and I would bet that he will be " Ryan Broyles, and Nate Burleson!

Titus Young act like a spoiled brat that his family has let him get away with acting this way his entire life, for him to last only 9 days with the Rams he must have said some really stupid things when they interviewed him.

You can identify a tree by the fruit it bears. Seems Titus leaves a bad taste. Nobody wants bitter fruit. He's a punk, and that's just unfortunate. He's getting what he deserves.

Titus just got cut by two teams in less than three weeks that need recievers......that is very telling. Mayhew and Schwartz have taken a beating from us fans for moves they made or didn't make, but I'm sure glad they didn't drag this out. Big props to them for getting rid of this guy. GO LIONS!!!!
