LIONS: Here is my official resume.

I’m willing to play TE for league minimum. (Can play fullback too.)

Pluses: I will give 110% on every play. I can block any player for at least one second. I have soft hands. And will run routes exactly as I am taught.

Minuses: I haven’t played any organized football in 25 years. I have lead feet. I’ll need oxygen just to walk to the oxygen bottle.

Said it before and I’ll say it again. As long as we don’t draft a QB or DL we will fill a need. The lions are swiss cheese with holes everywhere. Regardless of what I want us to address in the draft or free agency, I can’t argue with any position players they pick up. We need help everywere. Lions need recivers, OL, DE, LB, DB and special teams. I’m surprised they haven’t called me for a tryout yet. They are desperate.

Some of you guys desperately need to GOOGLE “salary cap” “NFL” “Detroit Lions” “2013″, because you few/many seem oblivious to the fact that it is that cap, NOT any supposed ‘cheapness’ on Bill Ford’s part, that constrains the Lions spending(now and next season.) There are no magic beans that can get us through this lean time; it’s the legacy of Matt Millen and the ludicrous contracts (for top 10 draft picks) under the old rookie salary structure. It wouldn’t even do much good to cut C.J, or Suh or Stafford, because their signing bonuses are still stomping all over the cap numbers. So, we deal. No chance of Jake Long, for instance; even diminished, someone will put up $8-9 million per year against the cap. We don’t have it. We likely don’t have enough to get Reggie Bush, either, as that may cost $4.5-5 per year.

lions need to sign a free agent cb, if they have the $. if reggie bush is healthy and the lions don’t improve their defense they will lose games 45-41. i like the backs the lions have. a speed back can be picked up in the later rounds. lions should fix the defense this year and wait a year to draft a c, ot, rb, and wr. reiff can start at guard and nagy at center for this year.
