I never though I would say this but take Dee Milliner in the first follow by taking DE William Gholston in the second and WR Terry Williams in the third only if you picked up Bush in free agency. Now your ready for the playoffs.

Yes, I realize the Lions will NOT take Matei Teo, but you can bet either Green Bay or Chicago will and he will haunt the Lions for the next 10 years or more. Lions need Defensive End (dump Avril) but Willie Young and Jackson could fill that role. NO OUtstanding DE's in draft according to Mike Mayott. Take OL Fisher with the #5 pick and then come back in the second round and get at DE. Lions need to seriously consider replacing Raiola with Brandon Cave from Notre Dame (most probably with second round pick). They should explain what they are going to do with the 3 LBs from last draft, and the 3 CBs from last year? Why draft players and never play them? That is a real flaw in Mayhew/Swartzs Draft philosophy so far. Get us the OL whe have needed for 10 years and protect the "FRANCHISE QB" we drafted in Stafford!!!

It's possible that Geno Smith may drop into the Lions hands and if that's the case then Arizona will be chomping at the bit. Mayhew might want to call Arizona to see if they want to move up and the Lions could pick up a second and fourth for Arizona to move up a couple of pics. Perhaps I'm dreaming but what a help for the Lions who need to get in right big time. If they make the playoffs consecutively, high picks won't be around for awhile. The Jets, Bills and Cardinals all could use a quarterback. Mayhew this might be your year to shine if luck is on your horizon.
