Jackson, Delmas want to be back in Detroit

Posted by Chrissie Wywrot on March 9, 2013 – 11:57 am

With the three-day free agency negotiating period underway, fans sit on the edge of their seats waiting for news.

Due to the nature of the negotiation period, it is unlikely much will surface surrounding courted players, but teams can re-sign their own players before they hit the open market on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.

As far as who those players could be, Detroitlions.com lead writer Tim Twentyman offered insight here and on Twitter @ttwentyman:

In fact if yoiu lose in the begining games by making shakey choices in the draft look for me to jump on the field and snap in full Lion uniform during a nationally televised game.

Let’s see. Our LB corps was/is shaky at best. So, why are we even worried that we might not sign a LB? IDC who it is. Her was a member of possibly the weakest LB corps in the league and we are worried we might not be able to sign him? LOL

Get a LB from some local HS’s graduating class and sign him to league minimum. It’s bound to be a player who wants to play at least. I doubt if any of the LB’s last year really wanted to play. If they did, SHOW IT!

I hope you do Wajiboy! If you can Play and Play Good enough to Make things Happen then get at it. What Position is your Specialty?
Hey Detroit LIONS!Here are Some Free agants that I would love to see here being negotiating for.

    Andy Levitre G: Buffalo
    Jarius Byrd S Bills
    Dashon Golden S SF
Chris Houston CB Detroit Lions ( I thought that he would be signed already) Because the write up that NFL network Gave him was making him look pretty good.
    Antoine Cason DB San Diego
    Dominique Rodgers- Cromarty
The Guard from the Bills is a Great Guard! I know we Probably don’t have the Money To sign all of these Guy’s.
Having Houston ( I hope that we do?) and making a tandem With Him and Antoine Cason would be one Great Unit in the Backfield IF we get Delmas back and he can Maybe get anther Goo S in the draft.. This Backfield would be shutdown.
Cromartie, I Brought him Into it just in case San Diego wont give up Cason
All three of these DBs have about the Same type Records in their career’s.
All three have all most Identical records. But Houston and Cason have the most simuler.
And then If we could resign Delmas and keep him healthy . if Not then try to get one of the Safeties in the draft, I like Kenny Vaccaro/Texas.
To have the CBs together that I want and the Safeties that I would love to get in here.Jarius Byrd (Bills) or Dashon Golden (SF) with Delmas That would be one heck of a Unit. Defiantly looking at Playoffs..And with the Guard giving Mathew the Time to find his Open
I know what I want is probably Not possible being that the (G) would Probably want some outrageous Contract.
As far as the Backfield that I have down here if shown to all the backs, that might Peake their interest in the Fact that they know that with all of them together other Teams would be finding it impossible to reach the end zone, And wouldn’t that be a treat!! I know I’m a dreamer! LOL (:
    GO LIONS!
