USA Today reports Jim Washburn will join the Detroit Lions staff
Posted by on January 22, 2013 – 2:15 pmUSA Today’s Mike Garafolo reported yesterday via Twitter that veteran coach Jim Washburn will join the Detroit Lions coaching staff as a defensive assistant.
Washburn has been seen in Mobile, Ala., where the Lions staff is coaching the South team. Washburn is not there in a coaching capacity.
More on this report to come following today’s South practice, which begins at 2:30 ET.
