The Lions will be without safety Louis Delmas and defensive tackle Corey Williams tonight against quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense.
Delmas did not practice Wednesday or Friday because of a sore left knee and was limited when he did practice Thursday. He’s struggled with the injury all season, but had managed to play the last two weeks in monitored snaps.
Don Carey, who had two of the Lions’ three interceptions last week against the Colts, will start at safety in Delmas’ place. Ricardo Silva will start at the other safety spot.
Safety Tyrell Johnson, whom the team signed earlier this week, will be active with Delmas out.
Williams has also been battling a knee injury for most of the season. He had surgery in late September and has missed five games. He didn’t practice all week.
Nick Fairley will make his seventh start of the season and his fifth-straight in place of Williams.
Joining Delmas and Williams among the list of inactives for the Lions are: tackles Jason Fox and Corey Hilliard, quarterback Kellen Moore, receiver Lance Long and defensive end Ronnell Lewis.
Receiver Kris Durham will get the start opposite Calvin Johnson.

The Lions have signed receiver Kris Durham (6-6, 215) to their practice squad, according to a league source.
Durham was among Seattle’s final cuts on Friday. He was a fourth-round pick by the Seahawks out of Georgia last season, but only played in three games before landing on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. He had three catches for 30 yards last season.
Durham played at Georgia with Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford from 2006-08. He finished his college career with 64 catches for 1,109 yards and four touchdowns.
He will join offensive lineman Rodney Austin, running back Stephfon Green, cornerback Ross Weaver, linebacker Carmen Messina and wide receiver Patrick Edwards on the practice squad. The Lions have two spots still available on the practice squad.
